iParent.  iListen.  iLove. iMake the Difference.

As a parent, YOU are the single most influential factor in your child’s life.  Not an athlete, rock star, or even friends.  IT’s YOU.  And it’s up to you.

It’s up to you to PARENT.

You are your child’s first and most important teacher.  Talking about sex can be intimidating even for the teacher.  iParent. can help.  iParent. gives parents, educators, and adult leaders insight into the world of children and teens and how our “sex saturated” society affects them.  Encouraging your child to choose abstinence until marriage is an ongoing process.  It’s not a “talk”.  Contact iParent.  to learn more.

It’s up to you to LISTEN.

iParent. encourages you to listen to what’s going on in your child’s world.  It’s not always easy to understand “teen talk” when they often say the opposite of what they really mean.  (“No, Mom, you don’t need to come to my game.  You’ll just embarrass me!  I need some space.”  Translation:  “If I say I want you to come, I’ll look like a wimp.  So don’t ask, just come to my activities.”)

It’s up to you to LOVE.

Unconditionally.  No matter the size of the mistake.  You’ve made mistakes, too.  iParent. will help you encourage “Secondary Virginity” or “Character Virginity” if your son or daughter has already engaged in any type of sexual activity.

It’s up to you to MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.

Go ahead.  Take the plunge.  Look for “teachable moments” and start a conversation or two about sexuality and the importance of waiting for sex until marriage.
