K4 ~ 2nd Grade Girls
Chapel/Dress Uniform (for chapel, field trips and school functions)
Jumper: White Peter Pan blouse with plaid jumper (see notes)
Socks: Any solid white socks or solid navy knee socks
Shoes: Solid black, brown, or navy dress shoes
Cold Weather: Long sleeve Peter Pan blouse or solid white turtleneck under jumper, navy cardigan, or v-neck sweater; navy sweatshirt or navy hooded fleece jacket; white or navy tights
3rd ~ 5th Grade Girls
Chapel/Dress Uniform (for chapel, specified field trips and school functions)
White Peter Pan blouse with plaid jumper (see notes)
Or White oxford blouse with navy cross tie and plaid skort
Socks: Any solid white socks or solid navy knee socks
Shoes: Solid black, brown, or navy dress shoes
Cold Weather: Navy cardigan or v-neck sweater or navy hooded fleece jacket; white or navy tights with
1) Long-sleeve Peter Pan blouse or solid white turtleneck under jumper, or
2) Long sleeve oxford shirt with skort
K4 ~ 5th Grade Girls
Girls may wear the chapel/dress uniform or any combination of the following:
Top: Red, navy, yellow, or white polo shirt or white oxford shirt
Bottom: Plaid or khaki skort, khaki slacks, or khaki shorts
Socks: Any solid white socks or solid navy knee socks
Shoes: Solid black, brown or navy dress shoes or *athletic shoes (please see notes)
Belt: Solid brown or black belt (belt NOT required for K4/K5 students)
Cold Weather: Long sleeve red, navy, or white polo shirt; navy cardigan sweater, navy sweatshirt, or navy hooded fleece jacket; white or navy tights
Notes for Grammar Girls: 1) Athletic shoes may be worn on regular uniform days. They should be white, navy, gray, brown, or black; clean, tied, and a traditional style with no excessive patterns, decoration, or bright colors. They must have a closed heel and toe.
2) Girls’ hair accessories must either be a solid uniform color or plaid purchased from Sir Walter.
3) Peter Pan blouse may only be worn under the jumper, not alone.
4) Grammar students do not change for P.E.
5) Outerwear should be from Sir Walter or removed indoors.
Grammar BOYS (K4 ~ 5th Grade)
Chapel/Dress Uniform (for chapel, specified field trips and school functions)
Top: White oxford shirt Bottom: Khaki slacks
Socks: Solid tan or brown dress socks Shoes: Solid brown or cordovan dress shoes (not black)
Belt: Solid brown belt (Belt NOT required for K4 and K5)
Cold Weather: Long sleeve white oxford, navy v-neck sweater, or navy hooded fleece jacket
Regular Uniform
Boys may wear the Chapel/Dress uniform or any combination of the following:
Top: Red, navy, light yellow, or white polo shirt or white oxford shirt
Bottom: Khaki shorts or khaki slacks
Socks: Solid white crew socks with athletic shoes, solid tan or brown dress sock with dress shoes
Shoes: Brown or cordovan dress shoes, or athletic shoes (please see notes)
Belt: Solid brown or black belt (belt not required for K4 and K5 students)

navy sweatshirt, or navy hooded fleece jacket

Dialectic Girls (6th-8th Grades)
Top: Any plain white fitted, button-up blouse or oxford shirt (does not have to be purchased
from Sir Walter) or a yellow or blue fitted blouse from Sir Walter (Similar to the
Rhetoric Chapel shirt last year)
Bottom: Any khaki knee-length skirt or skort or Sir Walter plaid skirt or skort
Shoes: Brown, black, navy, or gray leather flat or low-heeled dress shoe
Cold Weather: Ladies khaki dress pants (no patch pockets); hose or white, navy, or black tights
P.E. – Top: Red or gray Geneva P.E. t-shirt, navy or gray Knights t-shirt, or navy Geneva sweatshirt
Bottom: Navy knit shorts, navy mesh shorts, or navy sweatpants
Dialectic Boys (6th-8th Grades)
Top: Any white oxford shirt or the light blue Sir Walter oxford shirt (plaid or navy uniform tie for Curia) or, on regular uniform days, a Geneva uniform * Polo shirt may be worn
Bottom: Any khaki dress pants; no cargo pants or patch pockets
Shoes: Black or brown shined dress shoes, leather lace up oxford or loafers; no athletic or boat shoes (soles should be black or brown)
Matching belt and dark socks
* The Polo shirt option for Dialectic Boys may be phased out in 2013-14.
P.E. – Top: Red or gray Geneva P.E. t-shirt, navy or gray Knights t-shirt, or navy Geneva sweatshirt
Bottom: Navy knit shorts, navy mesh shorts, or navy sweatpants
Dialectic Outerwear: Should be Sir Walter or removed indoors

Rhetoric WOMEN (9th ~ 12th Grade)
Skirts are preferable; dress slacks with no patch pockets may be worn
Blouses should be neat and modest (no sleeveless, midriff, or low cut blouses) Matching or coordinated low heeled or flat dress shoes
Rhetoric MEN (9th ~ 12th Grade)
Sports coat or suit coat, with or without tie, or dress shirt and tie; shirts should be button up, matching, and neat (coats may be removed in the classroom at the discretion of the teacher)
Dress pants or slacks; no patch pocket pants
Black or brown shined dress shoes; leather lace up
oxford or loafers, no athletic or boat shoes
Matching belt and dark socks
