Richard Cali has been an educator for over twenty years.  Prior to joining the Geneva faculty in 2012, he served fourteen years with Berean Academy where he taught at the grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric levels.  In addition to teaching everything from fifth grade to high school Bible, logic, rhetoric, and literature, he also served on Berean’s Curriculum Development and Review Committee and helped lead the school through a transition time as interim headmaster and then assistant headmaster.

Prior to becoming an educator, Mr. Cali worked professionally for the Boy Scouts of America as a district executive and summer camp director for Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation in Lake Wales.

Rich is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a BS in Communication, with further course work in literature.  His awards include Senior Teacher Award from Berean Academy, Teacher of the Year from Seminole Presbyterian School, Winners Circle from the B.S.A., and Eagle Scout as a youth member.  He is a ruling elder in his church as well as a pastoral intern, studying toward ministry ordination.

Rich’s pride and joy are his wife and nine children, and he enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
