GCA’s new chess club held it initial meeting Tuesday at 3:00 in the Art Room.  After a brief lesson from the club leader, members practiced on the boards that were available. There is a need for chess boards so if you have one to donate, please take it to the office.  Ideally, 4 or 5 more boards would be great.  

Next week’s meeting will extend 15 minutes, finishing at 3:45 pm. The club is open to all students from 3rd – 11th grade.
