Please take a moment and let us assist you in determining whether Geneva is the best school for your family.
01.
Getting Started
For most families, an introduction to Geneva begins through conversations with friends or simply driving by our campus. We recommend that you contact us to schedule your own individual tour to learn more about our community. Time on campus will give you the best glimpse into our school.
02.
Submitting an Application
Your admission process begins once we have received a completed Enrollment Application and an acknowledgement that you have read and do not object to your child being taught according to the Statement of Faith and Parent Commitment. A $175 non-refundable application fee is due at the time of submission.
03.
Understanding Geneva’s Approach
We want your family to fully embrace our classical Christian model. In order to make the most of your partnership with Geneva, it is important to understand what we do and why we do it. We recommend all families read at least one book on classical Christian education during their application process. Click here for our Reading List.
04.
Records / Reference Forms
As part of the application process, you will be required to provide the following forms.
- Administrator Reference Form (Grades 2-12)
- Teacher Reference Form (Grades K5 & 1st Grade or Grades 2-5)
- Teacher Reference Forms (Grades 6-12)
- Student Questionnaire (Grades 6-12)
- The Registrar will request report cards and test scores (if applicable) from the previous school.
05.
Testing
All applying students will be required to take a placement test. Testing will be scheduled through the Admissions Office.
06.
The Interview
The parent interview is a vital part of the admissions process. Once all paperwork is complete, we meet with both parents (and students entering 7th-12th Grades). The interview process provides a time for us to get to know one another more personally and an opportunity for you to ask questions.
07.
Admission Decision
Prospective students who have completed the admission process will receive an admission decision by written notice. If your child meets our admission requirements but we do not have a space in the grade, your child will be placed on a waiting list. The school will select applicants as space becomes available.
Geneva Classical Academy admits students of any race to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to all students. GCA practices a biblical philosophy of admissions, not discriminating on the basis of race, sex, color, or national origin in the administration of its policies, admissions, scholarships, athletic, and other school-directed programs.
