Geneva is pleased to announce a new opportunity for Geneva students – music class for upper students. This elective class will be taught by Ms. Jenny Heidtman.
Jenny Heidtman was born and raised in Bartow. She is a classically trained pianist and singer. Ms. Heidtman graduated from Florida Southern College and studied vocal performance at Salzburg College in Austria, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and Georgia State University in Atlanta. She has performed over twenty operatic roles with various national and international companies.
Jenny is an accomplished recitalist, chamber musician, and cabaret singer. She has created shows combining opera, musical-theater, comedy sketches and jazz. Ms. Heidtman has taught voice for over 15 years; her students have succeeded in Broadway productions, Carnegie Hall performances, international tour groups, and as teachers themselves. She currently has a thriving vocal studio in Bartow and serves on the vocal faculty at Polk State College.
