INSHORE FISHING: Enjoy a day in Charlotte Harbor and/or Pine Island. Fishermen can expect to target Trout, Reds, Snook & Mangrove Snapper. Guided by Tomm Warneke and James Cook, a party of two will be treated to great food, your favorite beverages, unparalleled fishing, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. If your preference is just cruising, shellin’ and sight seein’, we can do that too. Use your tackle, or we will provide ours; wining bidders are responsible for providing current fishing licenses. HIGH HOPES – MAGGIE VALLEY NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAIN CABIN! – Enjoy a week in the mountains near Maggie Valley. The home can sleep up to 13 but is ideal for 3 couples. Fully-stocked kitchen, pool table, and wireless DSL access! At an elevation of 3,460’, High Hopes offers incredible long-range mountain views with easy, paved access. Your vacation can be as restful or as active as you choose. The decking on three sides of the home provides the perfect place to sit and read; or, due to its central location in the heart of Maggie Valley, you are minutes to all of the area outdoor activities or shopping. High Hopes is near Cherokee (30 minutes to gambling, Santa’s Land, Oconaluftee Village), Waynesville (15 minutes), the Great Smokey National Park (20 -30 minutes to multiple entrances), the Blue Ridge Parkway (12 minutes), hiking, fishing, rafting, skiing, horseback riding, and golf. Asheville is 40 minutes east and offers the Biltmore Estate, the Health Museum (great for kids), the arts, shopping, and great restaurants.
There are two master suites with king beds. The indoor dining table seats 12, but there is also an outdoor picnic table. Prepare your meals here in our fully stocked kitchen, or visit the local restaurants. The pool table is of professional quality and is a family heirloom. Family time can be spent playing games, doing puzzles or reading books. While you are vacationing, we know you may need to stay in touch with your office or keep up with emails, so enjoy the wireless (or wired) DSL on your laptop during your stay. THE BUCKFIN 2013 FILET KNIFE AND HAND TOOLED LEATHER CASE – CUSTOM MADE BY DAN MINK: This is a genuine collector’s item. Custom made by craftsman Dan Mink exclusively for the 2013 BuckFin Banquet. Your knife comes engraved with “BuckFin 2013” on the blade (440c stainless heat-treated to 58RC). It’s the Redfish model with a buttonwood handle, a top-grain, vegetable-tanned, hand-sewn cowhide, and custom hand-tooled leather “shark” sheath.
